![]() I wonder if it's due to some kind of variable Sample Rate: 48.0 kHz / 24.0 kHz, or whatever it is. I also did a file where I selected "ACC passthru" to keep exact audio but with a changed keyint - and it freezes the application as well, so it's not keyint. It actually seems to be the SOUND! Because I just converted again without changing keyint, but changing sound and it still works!įormat profile : settings : CABAC / 4 Ref Frames Thanks for all your help and useful advice so that the output is exactly the same with adjusted Keyint? SPS with seq_parameter_set_id = 0 specifies frame size in MBs 8160 that exceeds level limit 396 for level_idc = 13ĭo you also know if there is a way to convert a file with Handbrake and make sure that there is no loss in quality - i.e. I also get errors like this with different values: I see this same error in the error log on that file as well. ![]() ![]() Another file just freezes for a moment but then seems to work. ![]() One freezes the application which worked after conversion. Or is it just some line 252 unrelated to GOP? I get this error on a number of clips. I'll also try setting OBS to Keyframe Interval: 1 as many of my files are screen recordings that I'm still working on.Īlso, you're saying that the bug occurs when GOP (Group Of Pictures, keyframe interval) exceeds 255 frames, but it seems I get an error at 252:Īssertion failed false at FileInfo.cpp line 252 It seems to have worked at least for one file I just tried. I noticed in other threads you advise to convert files with Handbrake using: My projects are loading - at least some progress! - but videos get stuck at preview. It's been over a year and they still have not fixed the problem! I just tried 14.5 beta since my annual subscription just expired - can't use 12.6 without it. Is it possible to buy monthly license for the previous version 12.6 that worked? I'm sure, I'm not the only one with such problems. Honestly, this program is obviously inoperable at this point, and I can only hope that it gets fixed. Then when I rebooted because it hung up, it was back to "loading" on some of the ones that it already displayed previews for. I also noticed that it was displaying previews for some and not for others. Even though I was able to have luck with playing one video, it hung up on other videos multiples times even when it relinked and was displaying preview for them already. It seemed like it was even trying to relink to some media (as it is in a shared area where Guest account also has access to). On my main computer, I logged in through a Guest account and was able to upload my project from an archive. It does upload some of my other video files (MOV from DSLR, mp4 converted from AVI screen recording) into a fresh project.
